Set up your organization

In this article, you'll learn about the tasks you'll need to perform to get up and running with Acium UBS.

This article assumes you have already signed up for Acium UBS and that you are the first and only administrator in your Acium organization.

Task 1: Add administrators

Add at least one other administrator to your Acium organization to share the responsibility of maintaining your UBS profiles. Because Acium administrators have full access to all Acium UBS functions, ensure that only trusted administrators have access to Acium UBS.

For instructions, see Administrators.

Task 2: Configure organization settings

Before you set up users with Acium UBS, review and complete the recommended tasks in Plan your deployment.

Configure org-wide security, authentication, enforcement, and telemetry settings for your organization. For details, see Organization Settings.

Task 3: Configure integrations

This task is optional.

If you have many users in your company who will be part of your Acium organization, consider connecting your directory to Acium UBS so you can target existing user groups directly from a profile's audience. For details, see Integrations.

Task 4: Configure browser and web control profiles

Before you configure profiles, review Plan your deployment and create an inventory of the websites, applications, and YouTube content you want to allow or block, along with the browser settings you want to enforce.

As a best practice, we recommend creating a web control profile that blocks site categories of malicious and exploitative content, with its audience set to everyone in your Acium organization. For details on building a profile like this, see Web control.

Task 5: Deploy the Acium extension

If you've configured your Acium organization and your browser and web control profiles, you're ready to deploy the Acium extension to users. See Deploy the sensor and extension.

What's next

After you complete the tasks in this article, allow some time for Acium UBS to monitor and collect data on users' web activity. For more information about the activity data that Acium UBS displays, see Browser activity and Users.
